Privacy policy

What data we process when you use our website or contact us.

1. At a glance

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services and embeds no content from external providers. Fonts, images and documents are loaded from our own web server. Personal data is only processed in the server log files and when you contact us by email or phone.

2. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of Art. 4(7) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

KomRec-ReCond GmbH
Hofer Str. 61
95632 Wunsiedel
Germany

Represented by the Managing Directors Thomas Schlotte and Olaf Thannheiser

Further details can be found in the legal notice.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. IONOS processes the data on our behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

Each time the website is accessed, your browser automatically sends information to the server, which is stored in log files:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • Date and time of access
  • page or file accessed, access status (HTTP status code) and amount of data transferred
  • Website from which the access is made (referrer)
  • browser and operating system used

We process this data to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security, e.g. to fend off attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in these purposes. The log files are deleted automatically after a short time unless they are needed to investigate a specific security incident.

4. Encryption

The connection to this website is encrypted with TLS. You can recognise this by "https://" in the address bar and the padlock symbol in your browser.

5. No cookies, no tracking

We do not set cookies and do not store any information on your device. Consent under Section 25 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) is therefore not required, and there is no cookie banner. We do not use web analytics, advertising services or social media plugins.

The Inter typeface is loaded from our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other font service.

6. Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you provide, e.g. name, company, email address, phone number, details of material and quantities as well as photos. We use it to process your enquiry and, where applicable, to handle an offer or contract.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in answering your enquiry.

We delete the data when it is no longer required for the purpose. We retain business letters and documents relating to business transactions for as long as statutory retention obligations require, in particular under Section 257 of the German Commercial Code and Section 147 of the German Fiscal Code (six or ten years).

Please note that unencrypted emails can be read by third parties in transit.

7. Links to external websites

Our website contains links to external websites, e.g. the "Plan route" link to Google Maps and the link to our company page on LinkedIn. A connection to the respective provider is only established when you click such a link. The respective provider is responsible for data processing there. No data is transmitted to these providers when you access the website itself.

8. Recipients and transfers to third countries

We only pass on your data if this is necessary for the performance of a contract (e.g. to forwarding agents), if we are legally obliged to do so or if you have given your consent. Service providers that process data on our behalf, such as our hosting provider, are contractually bound pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. No data is transferred via this website to countries outside the EU or the EEA.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights:

  • Access to your data stored by us (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

Right to object pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR

Insofar as we process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to the processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

For all requests, an email to info@komrec-recond.de is sufficient.

Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is:

Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA)
Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany
www.lda.bayern.de

10. No automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making including profiling pursuant to Art. 22 GDPR.
